River Oak Veterinary Hospital is seeking a 3rd veterinarian for a busy 2-doctor practice. River Oak is an established veterinary hospital that has been around for over 40 years. We are a full-service small animal hospital providing care to canine, feline, exotic and occasional small ruminant patients. We offer medical, surgical, daytime emergency expertise. We have a newly constructed dental suite equipped with digital dental radiography. Diagnostic services include digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house chemistry, cbc and urinalysis testing. After hours are referred to the local emergency clinic. We are open until 1 pm on Saturdays and we equally share coverage of hospitalized patients for the weekend care.
Our practice offers health insurance, malpractice insurance, paid vacation, continuing education expenditures, payment of professional organization dues as well as a retirement program. Competitive salary is offered but will be dependent upon experience. Qualified applicants must have either a DVM or equivalent degree with a passing score on either the NAVLE or NBE/CCT. Located just a few minutes north of Modesto, California, this growing city is situated in the San Joaquin Valley on the Stanislaus River, between San Francisco and Yosemite National Park. Qualified applicants must have either a DVM or VMD with a passing score on the NAVLE or NBE/CCT. Graduates of PAVE or ECFVG programs will also be considered Applicants will need to acquire a California Veterinary License or enroll in a temporary licensure program.Employees will be eligible for health insurance, paid vacation, continuing education expenditures, retirement program as well as payment of professional organization dues. Moving expenses can be discussed. Employees will not be on-call overnight but can expect to cover hospitalized patients on an occasional weekend.
