About Veterinarian for High Volume Spay/Neuter Clinic - The SPOT Clinic/Humane Society of Parkersburg, WV
The SPOT Clinic is a low cost, spay/neuter clinic. Located adjacent to our shelter on 29th Street Parkersburg, WV, this clinic is the first of its kind in our area.
The only way to control cat and dog overpopulation and the needless deaths of animals is by decreasing birth rates. The best way to decrease birth rates is to promote spaying and neutering and providing it at an affordable cost. This has proven time and time again to be highly effective. We believe that our clinic will go a long way to combating the overpopulation problem in our own community as well as those in the surrounding areas.
While our prices may be low, we provide high quality spay and neuter services. However, in order to keep our prices lower, we work differently than your typical veterinary clinic; our surgeries are done faster and slightly different. This means that not every animal is a candidate for surgery at our clinic.
