Veterinarian

FOREST HILLS VETERINARY HOSPITAL in coastal Wilmington, NC is seeking a full time veterinarian for our growing small animal practice. Our family-owned practice was established in 2001, as a one doctor practice and has grown into a successful 3 doctor practice. In 2016, we moved into our newly constructed 5500 sf spacious facility which boasts 5 exam rooms, lots of windows for natural light/well being and a treatment area with an open floor plan for visibility and a cohesive atmosphere. 

Our practice is a fully equipped/full service small animal hospital offering preventative health care, internal medicine, hospitalization, surgery and dental care, digital radiology, both onsite and commercial lab and we offer laser therapy. We also have access to a board certified surgeon for ONSITE consultations/surgical procedures when needed, as well as a mobile  ultra-sonographer who will visit our practice when requested. Wilmington is fortunate to have an After Hours emergency hospital available for our patients along with a local referral practice offering board certified surgeons and ophthalmologist. 

At Forest Hills Veterinary Hospital, we strive to provide our patients and clients with the best care possible in a friendly, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone on our staff is here because they love their job and enjoy giving pets the best care and the healthiest life possible. Our staff is dedicated to our patients and clients as well as to the practice owners. The majority of our staff have been with us for 10 -15 years.

Multiple public beaches offer beautiful scenery, water recreation and an escape from the day to day without any travel time.
