Associate Veterinarian
Lynn Animal Hospital, Inc
Lynn Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic associate veterinarian to join our bustling 3-doctor practice on a long-term basis. We are located 3 miles south of the University of Maryland just inside the Capital Beltway of Washington DC. Convenient to downtown Washington, as well as historic Annapolis and Baltimore, we are in the center of suburban central Maryland. We are an exclusively small animal practice seeing mostly dogs and cats, but would love a candidate that can treat avian/exotic as well. We are looking for an experienced doctor but would be willing to mentor a recent graduate with the right potential. Lynn Animal Hospital has a long tradition within the local community having been in existence since 1946. Many of our clients are second and third generation families. We pride ourselves on client education and communication, as informed decisions can only be achieved with owners and veterinary professionals working together as a team. The doctors and staff believe that every day is a new adventure in veterinary medicine. We offer preventative medicine, nutritional support, behavior counseling, soft-tissue surgery, laser therapy, advanced dental care/surgery and state of the art diagnostics (full in-house Idexx Laboratory Suite and reference laboratories.) The hospital has digital radiography (both standard and dental), ultrasound for abdominal and cardiac scans, advanced monitoring equipment, video endoscopy, Class IV therapeutic laser for critical care and chronic pain management, digital tonometry, and digital blood pressure monitoring. The hospital boasts a highly skilled staff that is committed to enhancing and expanding the capabilities of its practitioners as well as always striving to improve their own abilities. Lynn Animal Hospital takes advantage of a full array of world-class referral specialists located within 20-40 minutes of our practice. More than just a job, we encourage our doctors to take a leadership role in practice management. Benefits include paid health insurance for full time doctors, pension plan, two weeks vacation, membership to local CE meetings (Greater Baltimore Veterinary Medical Association) and professional licensure fees. Compensation is a guaranteed base with production incentives. This position has a potential to lead to ownership/partnership in the practice. We are looking for a full time veterinarian, but will consider part-time as well. Please forward resume stephanie@lynnanimalhospital.com.
