Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory is certified as a level II emergency and critical care facility by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS). This accreditation means that we have been recognized for meeting and exceeding the veterinary standards of a 24-hour acute care facility with the medical staff, personnel and training necessary to provide emergent and critical patient care. We’re also open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, which is part of the level II designation requirements.
