Associate Veterinarian- Mixed Animal Practice

Bushnell Veterinary Service is looking for a full time associate veterinarian to join our mixed animal general practice in west central Illinois. The ratio of small animal to large animal is roughly 50:50.  The small animal practice focuses on dog and cat preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry and emergency cases with the large potential to grow and expand services if desired.  In house CBC/chemistry machines, dental, x-ray, and ultrasound are available.  The large animal practice is primarily focused on beef cattle with cow-calf herds ranging from 20-800 head, with some feedlot and stocker herds. In addition, there is a moderate amount of small ruminant, swine and equine clientele.  Most clients are trained to bring large animals in to the attached haul in facility for individuals or smaller groups of animals, but much of the herd work is performed on the farm (because everyone likes to get out of the office from time to time).  The practice has 2 portable working chutes when needed on farm.  We are looking for an individual who has a passion for the profession with a healthy work/life balance.  New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply as there is potential for mentorship and/or buy-in.
