Join us in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina! Our growing small animal practice is seeking a small animal associate veterinarian. Our practice is mixed animal, caring for patients of all species including companion animals, equine, and occasional exotics and livestock. We are currently a four-doctor practice with significant annual growth. Modern diagnostic equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house Idexx lab equipment and new surgical suite. We are looking for a veterinarian to continue to grow our small animal practice, with the option of seeing other species only if interested. Our mission is to help people help their animals, and we truly have some of the greatest clients around. We offer our doctors a strong support staff and all the tools they need to be able to focus on providing top notch care for our clients and patients. Candidates should have experience in small animal medicine with excellent surgical skills, client communication, and an overall interest in enhancing the human animal bond. Our doctors participate in helping with our local shelter and community outreach programs, so a passion for giving back is definitely a plus. Our hospital staff is much like a family, and we are hoping to find someone who wants to be a part of an encouraging and supportive group like ours. We are located just outside of Asheville, NC with access to the best of small city life as well as fantastic outdoor recreation opportunities.
