Board Certified or Eligible Surgeon
Garden Oaks Veterinary Clinic
Garden Oaks Veterinary Clinic is seeking a board certified or board eligible Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team. We are a privately-owned small animal practice with three veterinarians currently. Our practice is an AAHA accredited facility expanding into a brand new 7,100 sq. ft. facility one block from our current offices. Since our opening 6 years ago we have had solid 20-40% yearly growth. In April of 2020 we had 4900 active clients. As of this March we are currently over 5900. Our current offices are 2300 feet and our planned growth presents a significant opportunity for the right surgeon. We are projecting growth in the first year in the new clinic to approach 50%. We currently perform most standard surgeries and our intent is for our new surgeon to handle all complex cases: fracture plating, TPLO’s, complex mass removal, all forms of soft tissue surgery. When the surgeon is not performing the more complex, they will be able to work with standard procedures to free up our other veterinarians for more in-clinic visits. Part of this expansion includes Vimago CT, Ligasure, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasound, two surgery suites, and two dental suites. Our rehab facility will include underwater treadmill and the latest Companion Class 4 Laser. We have a seasoned practice manager and a mature team of LVT’s, Vet Assistants, and ancillary staff. Our CVO/Owner has been practicing equine, African hoof stock exotic, and companion animal veterinary medicine for just over 20 years. He began his current companion animal practice 6 years ago in an affluent area of Houston and has developed it into a continuously growing practice. Over the next 12 months we will more than double our current professional and support staff as well. Other Veterinary Specialties
