Webster Groves Animal Hospital is a large 20+doctor AAHA accredited small animal located in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Andrew Love founded WGAH, P.C. on May 31, 1965. Initially Dr. & Mrs. Love ran the practice themselves in a small, two-story building.
In December of 1981, the expanding number of patients and employees necessitated Dr. Love moving his practice to an adjacent site where it remained until August of 2003.
In 1984, the hospital was accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and joined an elite group of hospital dedicated to providing pets with quality medical care. In 2010, the hospital also received AAHA Referral accreditation for Feline and Canine Specialty and Internal Medicine in 2013. By meeting AAHA standards for comprehensive professional services, WGAH confirms the high standards that have always been paramount in this practice.
WGAH made its second move on August 18, 2003. The new facility, at more than sixteen thousand square feet, has two floors large enough to house the ever-growing veterinary staff that includes Board Certified Veterinary Practitioners and a Board Certified Internist. The new building, with two parking lots, a lar...ge waiting room and a community room for public meeting, offers more convenience for our clients and patients. To better serve our clients, we elected to be open 24-hours, 365 days a year on April 1, 2012.
Services Offered: Small Animal Medicine, Small Animal Surgery & Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Urgent & Emergency Care, Laser Surgery, Digital Radiology, Ultrasound & Endoscopy, In-House Lab, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Emergency Power Generator, On-Line Pharmacy and Obedience Training.
