We are seeking a new senior leadership position, Associate Dean for Clinical Programs. As Associate Dean for Clinical Programs, you will serve as the leader and a strategic visionary for the veterinary teaching hospital and related community outreach services. The Associate Dean for Clinical Programs shall hold the primary responsibility to direct and oversee all clinical operations, financial responsibilities, operational needs, and client/patient services. Responsibilities include management of the daily operations of the hospital, including support and oversight for faculty, staff, and house officers providing clinical services. Promotion of a positive work culture and a supportive, inclusive environment are critical. While the ultimate financial oversight lies with the Dean of the SVM and the Asst. Dean for Finance and Administration, the Associate Dean for Clinical Programs will work directly and collaboratively with the LSU Vet Med Senior Director of Finance.
The Associate Dean for Clinical Programs will be supported in this role by a dynamic team of directors, assistant directors, and managers. LSU Vet Med is growing, and we are looking for an energetic leader to continue to support our upward trajectory. Our hospital sees approximately 20,000 cases per year and is expanding services to promote additional in-house and outreach initiatives.
