Monroeville is a bustling and growing suburb of Pittsburgh known for a variety of restaurants, breweries, bakeries, fine shops and parks. It sits just 10 miles outside of downtown.
Pittsburgh, tucked away in the Alleghany Mountains of Southwestern Pennsylvania, is a mid-sized metropolis that has been ranked one of the most livable cities in the U.S. It is a small city of ethnic neighborhoods, scenic hills, trees, rivers, and farmland, and offers world class fine arts, museums, restaurants, and educational institutions. It also boosts three professional sports teams, a zoo, an aquarium, the National Aviary, excellent schools and health care, and a wide variety of outdoor and family activities including Idlewood, Kennywood and Sandcastle Water Park. Despite Pittsburgh’s big city offerings, people are friendly, crime is low, rural settings are within an easy commuting distance, and cost of living is well below average.

BluePearl Pet Hospital grew from the dreams of numerous veterinarians who believed pets should have access to cutting-edge healthcare.
BluePearl began in 1996 as a single practice in Tampa called Florida Veterinary Specialists. The practice thrived, adding new locations in Florida and New York, eventually becoming BluePearl Veterinary partners in 2008. Continuing to expand throughout the country, BluePearl quickly became a leader in specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals.
In 2015, BluePearl joined Mars Veterinary Health, giving us new, unprecedented opportunities for growth and support.
Today, we are 100+ specialty and emergency hospitals strong. Our veterinarians use innovative procedures, high-tech equipment and the latest treatment methods to provide comprehensive medical care to pets. We combine this expertise with a love for animals and the belief that kindness is the foundation of veterinary medicine.
Our mission: Provide exceptional specialty and emergency care for pets by supporting each other through our shared passion, knowledge and talents.
At BluePearl, we recognize that pets are part of the family. We honor the human-animal bond by providing the ve...ry best in advanced medical care for pets – including techniques that were once reserved exclusively for humans.
Our vision: Elevate the industry in the pursuit of sustainable veterinary excellence so pets receive the best care when they need it most.
We are committed to upholding the highest medical standards and are constantly searching for new and better ways to treat our patients and advance our profession.
