Here at All Pet we treat all types of patients from Sugar Gliders to Saint Bernards, furry, feathered, or scaled... we see them all! We prefer that our new Medical Director have experience treating exotic animals, but it is not required. Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class medical care to our adored animal patients, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions and diseases with compassion and expertise.
Perform a wide range of surgeries, including spays and neuters, emergency procedures, lump/mass removal, abdominal surgery, splenectomy, and orthopedic surgeries.
Lead and oversee our remarkable medical team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding veterinary care and client service that goes above and beyond expectations.
Develop and implement cutting-edge medical protocols and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.
Collaborate closely with our administrative team to establish and maintain efficient clinic operations that run like a well-oiled machine.
Keep meticulous records and documentation to ensure accurate and thorough medical histories for our patients.
Stay at the forefront of advancements in veterinary medicine and share your knowledge and expertise with the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, growth, and professional development among all staff members.
Requirements:
Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school, showcasing your solid educational foundation.
Be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania or be eligible for licensure, demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence.
Possess proven experience as a veterinarian, preferably with a focus on small animal medicine and surgery, highlighting your expertise in the field.
Showcase strong surgical skills and a wealth of experience in various procedures.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to effortlessly educate and engage both clients and staff.
Demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities and a deep passion for mentoring and developing veterinary professionals, inspiring greatness within your team.
Embody a genuine commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to animals and their dedicated owners, recognizing the special bond they share.
Exhibit a remarkable ability to work collaboratively within a team, effectively manage time, and skillfully prioritize tasks to ensure optimal outcomes.
