PURPOSE: To provide zoological/wildlife medicine experience to veterinary students. This is an unpaid position. Students must provide their own insurance, transportation and housing. DUTIES: Shadowing and exposure to many aspect of zoological/wildlife/aquatic animal medicine  Student will propose a final project focusing on an area of interest, to be presented to VLM staff Assist the museum’s veterinary technician as needed Perform necropsies under the guidance of the veterinarian
