Barrington Square Animal Hospital, located in Hoffman Estates, IL is looking for an experienced, full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team!

About Our Hospital: Barrington Square Animal Hospital is a full-service, newly remodeled, small animal hospital. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a therapeutic laser, and a SonoScape ultrasound. We are paperless and are in the process of adding a CT scanner! Most importantly, we have a well-trained and well-utilized support staff. They are empowered to do everything they are trained to do. Each doctor is supported by at least 1-2 dedicated technicians per day, as well as “floating” technicians to fill in support where needed.

Our doctors have a passion for surgery and perform a large variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries (including TTAs), and dentistry. Our high-quality medicine also includes in-clinic chemotherapy. Pre-operative lab work, IV catheters, and IV fluids are required for every anesthetic patient. 

At Barrington Square Animal Hospital, we have worked very hard to create an easy-going, compassionate team and are looking for a candidate who will support and embrace our collaborative environment. Our doctors have varied interests, which we encourage, but they also have a common goal of practicing high-quality medicine and caring for our patients and their people. We value an attitude of constant improvement and the willingness to foster the family atmosphere we have built. The predictable schedule and flexible nature of the team allow for a healthy work/life balance. 

We maintain a strong teamwork-focused environment by having twice-monthly all-team meetings and monthly departmental meetings. Our upcoming social activities include an all-staff holiday party and a movie night!

Hours of Operation: Our practice is open Monday – Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, Saturdays, 8 am to 2 pm, and Sundays, 10 am to 2 pm. The schedule is 3 weekdays per week 8 am to 7 pm, every other Saturday 8 am to 2 pm, and every other Sunday 10 am to 2 pm. There are no on-call responsibilities because we have an emergency clinic nearby.
