As you’re reading this, we wouldn’t be surprised if other job opportunities are already knocking on your door. Denver just might have more veterinary clinics than craft brewpubs and it has a lot of craft brewpubs. So, you might be wondering, why Bear Valley? What do you have that other vet hospitals don’t?
Two words: Private Practice Culture.
Okay, that’s one word, but this is our point—ask any member of our Bear Valley Veterinary Care Center team and they’ll tell you that they love working at our hospital because we have the kind of work environment and team dynamic you often only see in movies or TV shows. We laugh together. We cry together. We take the time to get to know each other in and outside of work and we support each other every day in ways both big and small.
We’re currently looking to add a full-time veterinarian to the mix. What can we offer you besides the chance to help a lot of adorable pets in the company of some truly great people?
Healthcare coverage, including dental and vision
Ample time off
Discounted pet care
Continuing Education allowance
Discounted pet resort services
A pretty standard package for sure. One you could probably get from fill-in-the-blank vet hospital down the street. But does the vet hospital down the street balance employee satisfaction and a healthy worklife balance with a strong financial sheet? Probably not.
Experienced veterinarians and recent graduates are welcome to apply. We’re more than happy to train the right person.
Are you that person? Please visit our website and fill out an application where you can attach your Cover Letter and Resume.
We can’t wait to get to work!
Competency in surgical and medical techniques, or ability to learn these skills with mentoring
We are an AAHA Accredited and CFP Practice with 2 doctors looking to add a third. We love the close relationships we have with our clients and their pets and want to maintain those relationships. Our team is dedicated to offering sincere, comprehensive veterinary care and outstanding client service. We foster an environment built on trust and harmony so that pets can live the longest, healthiest lives possible. We will keep pets alive and comfortable until it is no longer in their best interest. Our lack of communication or mistakes to never be the cause of a pets discomfort or illness. We will be understanding of clients needs and wants but still placing a boundary to the way they treat us. We want responsible staff members that show up when they are scheduled and complete their job duties. We want people to support each other and not throw stones. For each individual to recognize their own part in any issues and how they can fix themselves before fixing others.
