CVETS, Columbia Veterinary Emergency, Trauma, and Specialty, is a privately-owned 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital in need of a safety officer! The hospital opened as a 9,000 square foot facility in May of 2018 and is growing rapidly. The facility included a dedicated ICU, multiple operating rooms, a radiology suite, dedicated facilities for endoscopy, chemotherapy administration and special procedures, and ultrasound. Our specialties include 24-hour emergency care, surgery, anesthesia, radiology, cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and dentistry.
In June of 2023, we opened the additional 17,000 square foot hospital expansion! With the addition of the new facility, we now boast 5 operating rooms, including a minimally invasive suite with fluoroscopy, 17 total exam rooms, in-building MRI, a 28-slice CT, physical therapy (underwater treadmill), I-131 treatment, a 35-person conference suite, separate GI and respiratory isolation units, and dedicated suites for oncology, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, and ophthalmology.
Your Schedule: Our hospital and its staff have been designed with a culture aimed at exceptional client services and personal job fulfillment. Your schedule would be Monday-Friday with some flexibility.

Criteria for sign-on bonuses are as follows:
High school diploma or equivalent
Safety certifications preferred and extensive experience in Veterinary safety roll.
One year of experience as a safety officer in the veterinary field

CVETS, Columbia Veterinary Emergency Trauma and Specialty, is a new Specialty/ER hospital looking to add to our team. Our hospital opened in May of 2018 and is growing rapidly. We are just finishing adding another 20,000 square feet to our hospital. The facility includes dedicated suites for Critical Care, ER, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Rehab, Cardiology, and Imaging, including both MRI and CT along with a Hyperbaric Chamber as well as a conference room that will hold 40-60 people. Our team is dedicated to teaching making our Internship and Residency programs successful. The hospital is located on the northeast side of Columbia, South Carolina - an area that is rapidly growing and was not previously serviced by specialty care. The hospital and its staff have been designed with a culture aimed at exceptional client services and personal job fulfillment. We have also opened a separate free-standing Urgent Care Facility in West Columbia.
