The PetIQ Registered Veterinary Technician position is responsible for providing preventative veterinary services to all patients belonging to pet parents under the support of an employee veterinarian. The employee veterinarian will be off-site and serve as the agent veterinarian representing Pet IQ. The ideal candidate: Is comfortable in high stress situations. Has experience participating in treating adverse vaccine reactions to include (but not limited to) angioedema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis. Can initiate treatment to manage an adverse event (allergic reaction) while receiving treatment protocol guidance from off-site veterinarian.
