Brandon Equine Medical Center is committed to providing exceptional care in equine medicine and surgery, serving a diverse clientele ranging from Western performance horses to Hunter/Jumpers and Dressage horses. Our team is composed of experienced veterinarians, board-certified specialists, and a strong support staff who foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
We take pride in our advanced diagnostics and treatments, including:
Digital radiography & ultrasonography
Lameness evaluations with a dedicated arena
Regenerative medicine (PRP, IRAP, shockwave)
Upper airway endoscopy
On-site lab and pharmacy
What You’ll Do:
Perform thorough lameness evaluations and diagnostics
Provide sports medicine consultations and treatment plans
Collaborate with internal medicine and surgical teams as needed
Deliver high-quality client communication and patient care
Participate in emergency/on-call rotations
What We’re Looking For:
DVM or equivalent degree
Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
Passion for equine lameness and sports medicine
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in continuing education and professional development

Our location based Medical Directors guide quality of care, inform staff development and ensure community connection. Medical decisions, treatment plans and medication choices are made by each of our individual doctors, locally.
