Position: Veterinary ExternshipLocation: Pet Medical Center, Winona, MinnesotaDuration: Flexible externship periods, ranging from 2 to 8 weeks
Key Responsibilities: As a veterinary extern at Pet Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced veterinarians and support staff. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting veterinarians in medical examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for small animals.
Participating in surgical procedures under supervision.
Gaining hands-on experience in radiology, ultrasound, and laboratory diagnostics.
Engaging with clients to provide education on pet care and treatment plans.
Observing and learning about the management of a modern veterinary practice.
